Years of Education
I was influenced at an early age by my father and law partner, George Pfeifer. From him, I learned the importance of safeguarding our Constitutional rights. These rights are not "technicalities"; these are our most basic rights and they deserve protection. By the time I got to college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I knew that I would follow in my father's footsteps and become an attorney.
Former Assistant Public Defender
After graduating from law school at IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law, I immediately began my career as a criminal defense attorney. For nearly seven years, I handled a very large caseload of criminal cases as an Assistant Public Defender for the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender. During my tenure there, I handled hundreds of DUI and serious traffic cases before transferring to the felony trial division at 26th and California, where I defended hundreds of people facing serious felony charges. I handled a wide variety of cases including drug possession and delivery, theft, robbery, sexual assault, home invasion, burglary, and first degree murder, among others.
Partner at Pfeifer & Pfeifer, Attorneys at Law
In January of 2007, I realized my childhood dream by joining my father's
law firm. At Pfeifer & Pfeifer, Attorneys at Law, we continue to represent
people from all walks of life who find themselves in difficult situations.
Every day I help people by giving sound legal advice in a personable way.
My clients can tell that I truly care about them because I invest the
time that is needed to secure the outcome they expect.
In order to remain involved in the community and keep up to date with current legal trends, I am an active member of the Chicago Bar Association and serve on the criminal law committee. I am also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).
On a personal note, I was raised in Evanston. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, helping to coach my kid's baseball team, and playing piano, and watching any and all Chicago sports.
If you find yourself in a difficult situation, please give me a call. I would be glad to consult with you for free. I am confident that I will be able to help you.
