Florida attorney general asks Supreme Court to reverse dog sniff ruling

The attorney general of Florida wants the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse a ruling in a dog sniff case. The Florida Supreme Court ruled that the police can not use a drug sniffing dog outside a person's home as a basis to get a search warrant. The Florida court said that using the dog outside the home violates the 4th amendment. Read more here.
